MTV: Music Television will re-air its taped broadcast of the hit musical Legally Blonde at 1pm and 8pm on Thursday, November 22.

The three-hour broadcast uses footage from a taped performance on September 18, as well as that evening's "Pink Carpet" arrivals, and backstage footage. Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, and Whitney Port, stars of the reality series The Hills, host the special.

The musical -- which has been shut down since the beginning of the Broadway strike on November 10 -- is based on the popular 2001 MGM movie of the same name, about Elle Woods, a determined if seemingly ditzy college student who decides to become the first member of her sorority to attend Harvard Law School.

The show stars Laura Bell Bundy as Elle, as well as Christian Borle, Orfeh, Richard H. Blake, Kate Shindle, Nikki Snelson, Andy Karl, Natalie Joy Johnson, and Michael Rupert. It is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, has a score by Nell Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe, and a book by Heather Hach, and features set design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by ACME Sound Partners, and musical direction by Alex Lacamoire.
