Cast members from the Broadway production of the musical Rock of Ages will perform at the American Airlines Terminal 8 at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) on Friday, April 13, with mini-concerts at 3pm and 3:45pm.

Set on Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, Rock of Ages tells the story of a boy from South Detroit and a small-town girl who fall in love and chase their dreams of making it big. The musical features songs made famous by Journey, Whitesnake, Styx and Bon Jovi, and New Line Cinema will release a film version of the musical on June 15, directed by Adam Shankman and starring Tom Cruise.

Among the songs cast members will sing at JFK are “Here I Go Again,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” “High Enough” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.” The performances are sponsored by American Airlines, the show’s Official Airline Partner, and travelers will have an opportunity to win tickets to an upcoming performance of the show at the Helen Hayes Theatre.
