Brent Barrett, Mitzi Gaynor, Rachel York Set for Reagle Concert Series

Brent Barrett, Mitzi Gaynor, and Rachel York will be featured in Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston’s three-show concert series.

Barrett and York, who co-starred in the Tony Award-winning revival of Kiss Me, Kate that was filmed for PBS, will reunite for “Isn’t It Romantic?” on February 19. The program will feature the Broadway stars singing favorite love songs from the stage and screen.

Gaynor, who is perhaps best known for portraying Nellie Forbush in the movie version of the musical South Pacific, will star in Razzle Dazzle! My Life Behind the Sequins on April 15. The show is part concert and part memoir, and features video footage culled from Gayor’s extensive television, concert and film work.

The series will conclude with Reagle’s annual musical celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, A Little Bit of Ireland, to be presented March 16-18.
