Boston-Area Children's Theatres Come Together for 2008 CBACT Festival

The Consortium of Boston Area Children's Theatres (CBACT) will present the 2008 Children's Theatre Festival, July 19, in the Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts.

This non-competitive festival is a day-long event featuring four shows, educational theatre workshops, and improvisational comedy. The day's line-up will include Performing Arts Center of MetroWest performing Once Upon a Mattress at 10:00 am; Artbarn Community Theater will do their 3D Fairy Tales workshop, and Riverside Theatre Works will have their Open Scenes Improv workshop at 11:00 am; and Watertown Children's Theatre will perform Wiley and the Hairy Man at 12:00 pm

Arlington Childrens Theatre will perform Romeo and Juliet at 1:30 pm; Wheelock Family Theatre will do their Story Troupers Redux workshop, and an Improvisation workshop will be held by Un-Common Theatre Co at 2:30 pm; Riverside Theatre Works will perform Les Miserables at 3:30 pm; and Un-Common Theatre Company will present Improv Soup Troupe at 4:30pm.
