Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin and Tony Award-winning composer Sheldon Harnick will headline Arena Stage’s Golden Gala: A Glittering Evening of American Musical Theater on Monday, March 26 at the Mead Center for American Theater. Proceeds from the event will benefit Arena Stage’s Community Engagement programs.
At the event, Artistic Director Molly Smith will present American Voice Awards to senators Thad Cochran and Patrick Leahy for their advocacy in the arts.
Baldwin is currently starring in Giant at the Dallas Theater Center and will play Marian in Arena Stage’s upcoming production of The Music Man. Her stage credits include Finian’s Rainbow, Wonderful Town. She Loves Me, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Harnick’s credits include Fiorello, Fiddler on the Roof, She Loves Me, and The Apple Tree.
