Jobsite Theater Announces The Lieutenant of Inishmore Cast and Creative Team

Cast and creative team information has been announced for the Jobsite Theater production of Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore, set to run at the Shimberg Playhouse in the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, March 19-April 5. David M. Jenkins will direct.

McDonagh’s play is a graphic satire on violence, set in 1993 on the rocky island of Inishmore in County Galway. When Padraic, a terrorist considered too angry for the IRA, finds out his beloved cat Wee Thomas has been murdered, he initiates a cycle of revenge-killing that threatens everyone in his path.

The cast will feature Ned Averill-Snell (Donny), Jason Vaughan Evans (Brendan), Steve Garland (Christy), Kari Goetz (Mairead), Chris Holcom (James/Joey), Matt Lunsford (Padraic), and Dominic Russo (Davey). The creative team will include Brian Smallheer (lights and set), Katrina Stevenson (costumes), Chris Holcom (special effects), and David M. Jenkins (sound).
