About the Show

Seattle’s newest production company, Contemporary Classics, presents it’s first show in December. Here’s to the Ladies stars young up-and-comers Brandon Ivie and Casey Craig Sunday nights in December at Thumpers Cabaret on the Hill in Seattle.

It’s all about the women, but at the same time it’s all about the men. Ladies is an excuse for it’s two stars to sing all the woman songs they’ve never had the reason to perform. Versed in both contemporary styling and classic musical theatre, Brandon Ivie and Casey Craig will be performing a menagerie of the best of musical theatre. Audience members will be treated to standards they know by heart and delighted by songs they’ve never heard as Contemporary Classics salutes such Broadway divas as Bernadette Peters, Audra McDonald, Ethel Merman, Betty Buckley, Barbara Streisand, Sutton Foster, Jennifer Holliday, Faith Prince, Angela Lansbury, Faith Prince and more.

Here’s to the Ladies will also feature a slew of guest appearances who will perform in the middle of the night. Guests include Julliard student Alex Mansoori (12/28) and Seattle actresses Jessica Skerritt (12/19) and Sarah Bordenet (12/20). While the male stars will be giving their salute to the women, the female guest stars will be paying tribute to the leading men of musical theatre.
