Fires of the Mirror explores the exploding tensions between urban blacks and Hasidic Jews that emerged during the riots following two deaths in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York. Drawn from interviews from residents and national figures, this collection of true voices laced with humor, pathos and anger depict the compelling and challenging American debate on race.
