Second to Nun: A World Premiere Musical

Second to Nun is a new musical based on the heroic, adventurous life of fearless pioneer and Canada’s first female saint, Marguerite Bourgeoys. Through soaring song and monologue, this one-woman musical, starring NYC cabaret sensation Molly Pope, recounts Marguerite’s death-defying journey to bring liberated women to the New World and help build the city of Montreal.

Featuring book and lyrics by award-winning librettist Anton Dudley, and music by Broadway songwriter Michael Cooper, Second to Nun is an inspiring story of inclusion, love, and living life without walls.
