Maureen McVerry: Love Will Kick Your Ass

Maureen McVerry is a veteran of the Bay Area theater scene. She is celebrating 35 years of performing on local stages, including A.C.T. and Marin Theatre Company. She is the winner of six Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards and two Drama-Logue Awards. For over 20 years, she has performed her ever-evolving cabaret show Verry McVerry locally at the New Conservatory Theatre Center, Herbst Theatre, the Plush Room, the Venetian Room, and the Alcazar as well as other venues nationally. For her Feinstein’s at the Nikko debut, she presents her new show Love Will Kick Your Ass, filled with songs that celebrate love in all its forms and backed by her three-piece band.
