Denise Perrier

Growing up listening to recordings of Billie Holiday, San Francisco’s own Denise Perrier began singing at an early age. She was soon discovered by Louis Armstrong when he saw her sing in her first professional gig with a vocal ensemble called The Intervals whom he added to his show in Las Vegas, thus starting Perrier’s professional career. She toured extensively in Australia, Singapore, the Phillipines, Vietnam, France, Italy, Brazil and Russia.
