Even a cramped cold water flat in Greenwich Village can seem like heaven if you’re a young bachelor enjoying your first apartment, especially if it features a bathtub in the kitchen and a beautiful actress as a neighbor. When the actress proposes doing away with the door connecting the two apartments, the bachelor has his own heaven on earth. That is, until his overly-protective mother appears.
