Ahmet Ozhan is the famous singer of Turkish Sufi Music. Sufi Music has been described as spiritual, mesmerizing and soothing; it is often given more cultural and historical depth by lacing it with readings of beautiful mystic poems from the great 13th century Turkish poet Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi. The “dance” of the Whirling Dervishes is called Sema. Sema is a part of the inspiration of Mevlana as well as part of the Turkish custom, history, beliefs and culture.
