This Seattle-based band returns with a performance featuring high-energy pop goodness. Led by Jack, who is also host of SiriusXM’s ‘Live from the Monkey House,” Recess Monkey’s kindie rock tunes evoke the spirit of the Beatles at their most playful. This concert is part of the band’s national “Deep Sea Diver” tour. They’ll travel deep in the sea, exploring the lesser-known creatures that live beneath the waves, with every song enhanced by Recess Monkey’s trademark, pitch-perfect understanding of what gets kids excited. In addition to oceanic tunes like “Fish Sticks,” “Tambourine Submarine,” “The Deep End,” “Shrimp,” and “Choral Reef” from Deep Sea Diver, Recess Monkey will play a “greatest hits” collection of singable, danceable songs from all their previous albums.
