Centered on the lives of recently engaged Vincent (Lawrence Jansen – Damages) and Camille (Allie Dunbar), ‘Vincent 1979’, explores what happens when value systems change dramatically and what that means for a family and, by extension, society. Set in Boston at the height of the sexual revolution, the late Dan Maher introduces us to the seemingly happy couple; his lover, Eddie (Andrew Pigott), a tough-guy cop with a family of his own; his mother, Rose (Suzanne Shepherd – The Sopranos, Goodfellas, Requiem for a Dream), who just wants her meat rack back; and the rest of the characters in this heartbreaking comedy. We witness their journey and are given a sincere look into the cores of two people and what they share, and, in the end, everything comes down to the sacrifices people are willing to make for the ones they love.
