About This Show

In this unconventional comedy, shipwrecked aristocrats land on an island run by former slaves. They are forced to switch roles with their servants and confront the truth about themselves. But can they learn? Iranian-born director Babak Ebrahimian combines contemporary aesthetics with a new translation of this surprisingly relevant 18th century play, which explores the arbitrary nature of power and the balance between emotion and reason.
