About This Show

Last fall at Lucky Chengs’, self-proclaimed psychotherapist Dr. Lisa Levy experienced some exciting new challenges. When she asked one audience member what type of lingerie he was wearing under his dress, he flipped it up to the crowd without saying a word. And then there was the newly minted nipple ring on a young woman, and another audience member revealed to the crowd that her husband likes to wear women’s underwear – and nothing else – when they play ping-pong. But, as always, there are the real issues too, like the girl who couldn’t stop crying because she let a guy go and now he’s with someone else. Psychotherapy Live! lets you get help for any problem, and if you don’t have issues to discuss, join the fun and help Dr. Levy come up with some solutions.

Lisa Levy began her performance career 5 years ago as the self-proclaimed psychotherapist, dubbed by The New York Times as “a shrink with stage presence” and called “riotously funny” by The London Times. But she’s more than funny, she’s good! After experiencing a 13-minute session from the doctor, one of Lisa’s onstage patients wrote: “The session has been nothing less than transformational. You may have to cope with being a genius.”
