Ondine

According to legend, the water nymph is a creature who possesses not only beauty and charm, but also mystery and power. The nymph Ondine encounters Hans, a knight errant seeking refuge from a raging storm, in the humble home of her adoptive parents and falls irrevocably in love with him. Under the spell of her enchanting powers, Hans vows marriage to her, breaking off his engagement to the princess Bertha. A battle ensues between the powers of their colliding worlds, and Ondine, facing her own complicated desires, must risk not only her own fate, but the fate of the man she loves. With sumptuous costumes, innovative video and ethereal music, Ondine brings to life a medieval kingdom brimming with passion, power and the mystical forces of an enchanted watery world.
