New York City Ballet at the JCC: Celebrating Jerome Robbins

The JCC is privileged to partner with New York City Ballet as the company celebrates this brilliant choreographer. Robbins’ work spanned 50 years in the theater–where he was the force behind Broadway’s biggest hits, including Gypsy, The King and I, West Side Story, and Fiddler on the Roof–and at New York City Ballet, where his many ballets reflected his classical training and extraordinary sense of theatricality. The evening will include a discussion about Robbins with artists who knew him and have written about him, as well as excerpts from his dances performed by the NYCB.
