Monsieur Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Koran centers on an unlikely friendship between a troubled Jewish boy and a solitary Arab man. Young Moise quickly learns that Monsieur Ibrahim has much more to offer him than the small grocery items that Moise routinely pilfers from Ibrahim’s neighborhood store. Set in 1960s Paris, the play examines the definition of family, both the one acquired at birth and the one earned, chosen, and nurtured over the course of a life.
Opening night takes place on Sunday, January 26 at 7:00pm. There is no 3:00pm performance on that date.
