About This Show

In this Musicals Tonight presentation, George S. Irving reprises the role he played on Broadway 20 years ago.

When Bill Snibson finds out he is the illegitimate but only son and heir of a recently deceased Earl, he heads from Lambeth to the family estate with his girlfriend Sally Smith and recieves a very cool reception. The Earl’s executors — Sir John Tremayne (George S. Irving) and Duchess of Dene — insist on turning him into a proper gentleman.

The production is directed by Thomas Mills and features musical direction by James Stenborg. Me and My Girl includes such songs as “Leaning on a Lamp Post,” “Once You Lose Your Heart,” “Family Solicitor,” “Take It on the Chin,” and “I Would If I Could.”
