Little Big Band

In his first NYC concert of ensemble music in over a decade, Peter Gordon will be mixing big band horn sounds with electronic and techno grooves. An evening of new compositions and arrangements for reeds, brass, electric strings and rhythm section, performed by some of the top players on the scene today. Gordon will also present arrangements of songs he has been co-writing with Alex Forbes and Jeff Franzel, including “Melt Away”, which featured in the hit film Deja Vu.

This evening is in conjunction with the La Mama performances of The Talking Band’s Party Time, featuring Gordon’s score, which runs Jan 4 – 21.
