Home! Now!! AKA The Granny Brigade is a musical comedy inspired by a group of older women arrested for attempting to enlist in the Armed Forces as a form of protest against the war in Iraq. This play focuses on a hilarious and inspiring group of grandmas, from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. These women juggle family, politics morality, and health care as they try by any means necessary to bring our troops home. The play also deals the subtle emotional effects that war has on us all, and the fact that our actions do not always match our rhetoric.
