About This Show

The Flea Theater proclaims, Give Us Your Children! and announces The First Flea Family Festival of Theater, Music, Dance, Stories and Clowns. Click on the links below to purchase tickets and for more information.

MUSICAL THEATER
The Flea and The Talking Band present the world premiere of The Parrot, a musical, with book by Paul Zimet and music by Ellen Maddow, about a city kid who befriends an enchanted parrot. It features music, masks and puppetry to create a unique theatrical experience. All seats $20.

DANCE
The Orchid Show, set in a whimsical, psychedelic and mirthful swamp, returns by popular demand after playing a sold out run at The Flea in 2001. All seats $15.

CLOWNS AND STORIES
Rounding out the festival are The Slappy and Monday Show, a clown show “for kids who think they have outgrown the circus” (TimeOut) and storyteller Pennylyn White with Tales Along the Silk Road which bring the adventures of Marco Polo to life. All seats $10.
