The fourth offering in the 2nd Annual Celebration of African American Playwrights “GOING TO THE RIVER” presented by Ensemble Studio Theatre (Curt Dempster, Artistic Director) in association with AUDELCO-winning actress Elizabeth Van Dyke is FIVE ROOMS OF FURNITURE by award-winning playwright and journalist Dhana-Marie Branton. A native of Chicago, Ms. Branton was awarded an Illinois Arts Council Award for this play and has received national attention for her playwrighting endevors as well as short fiction. -vn
