About This Show

Personalities clash and long hidden secrets emerge as a family reunites for a wake in Paterson, New Jersey. Eddie ran away to the big city and became immersed in the Greenwich Village art scene. What happens when he returns home for the funeral of the father who disowned him? Eddie tries to find a balance between his strict Syrian upbringing and the life he now leads.

By the Bier is presented by VenVic Productions at the Studio Space at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Written by Victor Keyloun, directed by Randy Baruh, produced by Morgan Deveaux Robinson.

Evening performances: December 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 at 8pm

Matinee Shows: December 6, 7, and 13 at 3pm.

All ticket proceeds go towards AFRICAN ACTION ON AIDS (AAA) which is committed to providing support to children who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS so that they may continue their education. Their mission is to provide financial and technical assistance and affect change through local organizations that are providing support to AIDS orphans and to young people at risk.
