About This Show

BONEJESTERS, an original work of personal storytelling, is an outgrowth of the Trinity College/La MaMa Performing Arts Program. Using theatrical forms derived from improvisational technique, vaudeville and sacred ceremonies, six performers share inner personal narratives. These are their own life stories, in which they have cast themselves as the hero or heroine. A simple, honest and touching world is created on stage that fondly recalls childhood games of make believe. Juggling is the spine upon which the vignettes are hung and has a continuing presence.
