Arch Connelly

Arch Connelly, an internationally recognized painter/sculptor, came to prominence in the East Village art scene of the early 1980?s. This exhibition at La Mama Galleria marks the first solo exhibition in NYC since his death from AIDS in 1993. The exhibition offers a selection of paintings, wall reliefs, freestanding sculpture, pedestal pieces, and ephemera with the intention of preserving and furthering Mr. Connelly’s legacy in the neighborhood that gave him his start.
