About the Show
The Dark Kalamazoo is written by and stars Drama Dept. company member Oni Faida Lampley. The solo show follows Oni (raised in Oklahoma City and educated in all-white schools) as she eagerly makes her first trip abroad at the age of 19 to “The Motherland,” Africa. Tom Prewitt directs.
