Tamicanfly

When a blind gambler has a vision of an improbable longshot, named Tamicanfly, winning the sixth race at a track all the way across the country, he enlists the aid of his estranged teenage grandson. The grandson learns that no obstacle (not even sound reason) will prevent his grandfather from putting his life savings on this horse named Tamicanfly. Meanwhile, at a restaurant, not far from their destination, a mother is learning that neither sound reason, nor her own paranoia, can keep her teenage daughter from growing up.
