Murder by Poe
$42.50
Murder By Poe, written by celebrated playwright Jeffrey Hatcher (Never Gonna Dance, Tuesdays With Morrie) weaves together four Edgar Allan Poe stories – “The Tell Tale Heart,” “The Black Cat,” “The Murders in the Rue Morgue,” and “The Mystery of Marie Roget” – into a tapestry of revenge, suicide, obsession, and murder. Directed by John Miller-Stephany, and featuring members of The Acting Company, the play takes place in a remote mansion “on a dark and stormy night.” This is the fourth production in The Acting Company’s New Classics for the Stage Series, a program dedicated to commissioning, developing, and producing new plays based on great American literature.
No performances the week of May 2 – 8.
