Dutch Heart of Man

LAByrinth Theater Company presents Dutch Heart of Man, by Robert Glaudini. This is the story of Dutch, a terrazzo grinder, whose life is his work. Intensely isolated, Dutch meets Florence, a cashier at the local gas station. He finds the courage to ask her out, but for support he enlists Marty, his co-worker, a man who sees himself as skilled with the ladies. Dutch’s limited means of expression, and Marty’s hedonism, tightens the noose on Dutch’s world until it explodes.
