Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, known for her reductive exercises in minimalism, returns to BAM with Drumming, a kaleidoscopic, nonstop hour of shimmying, pulsating torsos, wheeling arms and legs, and quicksilver changes of direction. Galvanized by Ictus? live performance of Steve Reich?s West African-inspired score, the dancers enact a live-motion action painting spilling across the stage.
