An Ark is the first play created for mixed reality. The one-of-a-kind theatrical encounter features the ensemble cast of Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, Richard III), Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton), Arinzé Kene (Misty), and Rosie Sheehy (Machinal).

These renowned actors appear via a headset, allowing them to speak to you in a radically intimate reimagining of live theater, drawing you into a deeply personal exploration of what it means to live, to grieve, and to connect.

A genre-defying collaboration between Tony Award-winning writer Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), critically acclaimed director Sarah Frankcom (Our Town), and mixed reality pioneer Todd Eckert, An Ark explores the elemental meaning of life with the energy and humanity that are the hallmarks of their work.

The actors will not be present; audiences view the entirety of the play through a mixed reality headset equipped with an optical device.
