Join Alessandra Belloni & her troupe as they open a portal into the sacred sites of the mysterious Black Madonna in Italy and around the world .

The concert features music from the Book’s CD – an enchanting journey of discovery of the seven Black Madonnas, following the ancient Neapolitan legend, known as the "Seven Sisters" in Southern Italy. This trip into traditional legends, miracles and history, transports audiences to a time and place where an unbroken and ancient tradition continues today. Processions, drumming rituals, chanting, and sensual dancing in honor of the Black Madonna, will be performed by a cast of ten artists, musicians, dancers and singers. Ending with the healing trance dance of the TARANTELLA!

Featuring ancient chants to the Madonna of Montevergine (Avellino) venerated on a high sacred mountain, and drumming in her honor TAMMORRIATA, a sensual dance which dates back to the rites of the Mother Earth  Goddess Cybele. It also features new original compositions by Alessandra Belloni dedicated to the Earth Goddess, and the Yoruba African Orishas, Ochun, Yemanja, the Black Madonna of the Gypsies form France and the Mary Magdalen.

As of August 17 2021, people 12 and older are required to show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use by the FDA or WHO.
Proof of vaccination may include the NYC Vaccination Record, CDC Vaccination Card (or photo), Excelsior Pass or NYC COVID Safe App.

All patrons must be vaccinated in order to see shows. Please provide proof before purchasing tickets.
Everyone must wear a face mask for entry into the theater or when moving around.
