Days of Wild have been playing Prince’s songs for over a decade, toured internationally, and even played the week-long annual celebration at Prince’s own Paisley Park Studio. But they are more than just a Prince band. You can hear funky classics by Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder and James Brown as well, but make no mistake…….Prince’s music is still at the forefront of what makes them tick. They’re not just about the music, they’re also all about spreading love. You will often see them inviting musicians to play and sing, as well as audience members to join in. Days Of Wild has become less of a band, but more of state of mind. If you go with an open mind, then you leave feeling like you are a member of the band, because they’re all about interaction and inclusion.
The HALF MOON leaves from the Skyport Marina at 23rd Street & FDR Drive. It heads south along the East River and passes underneath the 3 major bridges (Williamsburg, Manhattan and Brooklyn) before cruising through NY Harbor. After giving breathtaking views of Miss Liberty, the boat continues it’s trip through the harbor offering unparalleled views of the NYC Skyline during it’s 3 hour tour! The Half Moon is a 2 level boat, with a full bar, food for sale and bathrooms on the lower level. The band plays on the upper level. There is also an open deck on the upper level where smoking is allowed. If you don’t know already, there are 4 waterfalls set up on the East River…and yes, we will be cruising by each and every one of them on our journey.
