One Bona Fide Broadway Legend,
One Certified Pop Diva,
And One Resentful Non-Equity Chorus Boy.

In Dances with Pitchforks: Confessions of a Farmboy, 2002 MAC Award Nominee for Male Musical Comedy, John Flynn describes his experiences as non-Equity Farmboy #5 in the 1998 Paper Mill Playhouse’s production of Gypsy, starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley and pop star Deborah Gibson. John shares tales of rehearsal goings-on via e-mail. And from there on out- all Hell breaks loose! It is a story of dashed hopes, fragile egos, lost innocence, and grown women in cow costumes.

Written and performed by John Flynn
