As a heat wave waits for a shower or even a breeze, a dashing rainmaker could bring relief, but can any woman truly love such dangerous charm? 110 in the Shade is a musical adaptation of Richard Nash’s The Rainmaker. Tom Jones (lyrics) and Harvey Schmidt (music) went on to write The Fantasticks, the longest-running production in the history of American theater.
