High School Young Playwrights Festival

Bay Street Theatre’s High School Young Playwrights Festival features six short plays written, produced by, and starring students from Bridgehampton, Pierson, Southampton, Westhampton Beach, and the Foreign Language Academy of Global Studies in the Bronx. The Young Playwrights Middle and High School Programs are currently running in 12 schools in 7 school districts, reaching approximately 200 students annually. The festival includes 6 plays selected from close to 200 student-written shorts.
