About This Show

Tony nominee Euan Morton makes his first-ever concert appearance in the Hamptons at a one-night-only special event presented by the Bay Street Theatre. Euan Morton: Live at Bay Street is performed following that evening’s performance of The Who’s Tommy, in which Morton is currently starring (through July 9th). Morton performs backed by the production’s band and some cast members.

A native of Bo’ness, Scotland, Euan Morton’s voice has been hailed by theatre and music critics alike since he came to the States in the Broadway musical Taboo (for which he earned a Tony nomination and a Theatre World Award, in addition to the Olivier Award nomination he earned for starring in the London world premiere). Recently, Euan received acclaim for appearing in the title role of Tony Kushner’s adaptation of Brundibar at The New Victory Theatre, and won an Obie Award for starring in Measure For Pleasure at The Public Theater. His other New York credits include the title role of the musical Caligula for the inaugural season of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF Best Actor Award). He recently released his critically acclaimed debut album NewClear, and has appeared in concert in New York City at Town Hall, The Zipper Theatre, Joe’s Pub and Birdland, as well as at The Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA.
