Oliver

Oliver is a well crafted tale based on Charles Dickens’ novel and delights us with a glimpse of Victorian England and its darker side. Originally produced on Broadway in 1963, there are only a few cast members that would remember its debut. The cast of 50, including many local children as Fagin’s gang, unfold the story of the orphan, Oliver Twist, as he is runs away and becomes part of Fagin’s underground world of pick pocketing thieves. Oliver is filled with glorious music. Carrie Phipps-Banfi directs.
