About the Show
Written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the Caribbean musical Once On This Island is about a romance between a poor peasant girl and a rich city boy. The island natives tell the tale of how the peasant girl saves the city boy from death through melody, joy, and tropical splendor.
