About the Show

On the eve of their high school graduation, six girls meet up in the food court at the mall to talk about clothes, boys, sex and their future. It’s a typical rowdy scene, but what sets these girls apart – their disabilities, their poverty, the color of their skin – is also what may stand in the way of them having a future worth dreaming about. A funny, wild and heartbreaking play that lets these brave, angry and ‘succulent’ sisters speak for themselves. Karen Kessler directs. Written by Susan Nussbaum.
