In Shaw Festival 2007, Artistic Director Jackie Maxwell continues to explore vital and provocative stories that resonate with the wit, relevance and insight for which Bernard Shaw himself was well known. Maxwell noted that “The season’s lineup combines a range of classics, newly commissioned translations and a world premiere that showcase the unparalleled artistry of [the Festival’s] Ensemble.”
The 2007 playbill includes ten productions, on the Festival’s three Niagara-on-the-Lake stages: the Festival Theatre, the Court House Theatre and the Royal George Theatre. The productions are:
