About the Show

The timeless and magical story of the little cinder girl, her dashing prince, and her vile-yet-comical step mother and sisters will charm patrons of all ages. The wicked step-sisters played “en traveste” (males in female roles performed this year by Oscar Burciaga and Joseph Shumate) prove a perfect comic foil for the heroine. A particularly elegant Fairy Godmother, the iconic carriage and an elaborate ball at the palace lead to the final romantic pas de deux danced by Cinderella and her Prince. “Pimble’s Cinderella is all confetti – guaranteed to bring smiles…” (Crafts, 2004, The Register-Guard)
