About the Show
Southern California gets a holiday treat when Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker! comes to town. Bourne turns this holiday chestnut with music by Tchaikovsky on its head with a thrilling production full of his trademark wit, pathos and magic. The show takes its protagonist, Clara, on a journey that borrows elements from a variety of sources including Oliver Twist, the Ice Capades and the kaleidoscopic fantasy of Busby Berkeley musicals.
