Rare Blues, Well Done!

Enjoy one of the Quad Cities favorite local groups, Road One South, in the intimate venue of the Crystal Hall at the Elks Performing Arts Center.
Formed nearly 15 years ago, the Road One South Band has been a staple in the music scene around the Prescott area. The band is known for its high energy shows, original music and great interpretations of classic blues songs along with captivating original material.
The Road One South Band features high energy "dance until your feet fall off" rockin' rhythm and blues." The Musicians in Road One South are led by the spirited rhythm duo of drummer Dwight D'Evelyn and percussionist Ofer Harel. Bass player Steve Rivera provides the rock solid foundation along with Jay Schermer blowing some blistering harmonica. John Wurtz and Freddie Freeman provide vocals on both original and cover songs in the band's repertoire. Both John and Freddie have an extensive musical history and round out the band's sound with John on guitar and Freddie on keyboards – Each a superb talent on their respective instruments.
Road One South has been performing for more than 15 years in the Prescott area and are excited to return to the Elks Performing Arts Center's Crystal Hall for another very special show you won't see anywhere else.
