Max von Essen, Nick Adams, and Eden Espinosa to Lead Falsettos Tour

The musical will hit the road in early 2019.

Max von Essen, Eden Espinosa, Nick Adams, and Nick Blaemire will headline the upcoming national tour of William Finn and James Lapine's Falsettos.

The tight-knit family will include von Essen as Marvin, Espinosa as Trina, Adams as Whizzer, and Blaemire as Mendel. Joining them are Bryonha Marie Parham as Dr. Charlotte and Audrey Cardwell as Cordelia, with with Josh Canfield, Melanie Evans, Megan Loughran and Darick Pead rounding out the company. Casting for the role of Jason is still to be announced.

The tour will hold technical rehearsals and opening performances at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas (February 8-9, 2019), and will have its official opening at the Golden Gate Theater in San Francisco on Wednesday, March 20.

This production was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival, when it returned to Broadway in fall 2016. The Lincoln Center Theatre production is directed by James Lapine, with choreography by Spencer Liff, sets by David Rockwell, costumes by Jennifer Caprio, lighting by Jeff Croiter, sound by Dan Moses Schreier, musical supervision by Vadim Feichtner, and utilizing Michael Starobin's original orchestrations.
