The View UpStairs, the new musical written by Max Vernon, directed by Scott Ebersold, and choreographed by Al Blackstone, has announced plans for an original cast recording to be released by Broadway Records on August 11. Produced by Michael Croiter, the album is now available for preorder at BroadwayRecords.com.

Currently running off-Broadway through Sunday, May 21, at the Lynn Redgrave Theater, The View UpStairs is set inside the UpStairs Lounge, a vibrant '70s gay bar in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The forgotten community comes to life when a young fashion designer from 2017 buys the abandoned space, setting off an exhilarating journey of seduction and self-exploration.

The cast features Jeremy Pope (Invisible Thread) as Wes; Taylor Frey (South Pacific) as Patrick; Nathan Lee Graham (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Willie; Frenchie Davis (The Voice) as Henri; Benjamin Howes (Mary Poppins) as Richard; Michael Longoria (Jersey Boys) as Freddy; Ben Mayne as Dale; Nancy Ticotin (Gotta Dance) as Inez; and Randy Redd (Million Dollar Quartet) as Buddy; as well as Richard E. Waits, Anthony Alfaro, and April Ortiz.
