Spamilton Opens at 47th Street Theatre

Off-Broadway's Spamilton opened last night, Monday, June 20, at its new home the 47th Street Theatre. The show, a parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony-winning Hamilton, moved from its previous home, the Triad, earlier this spring and began performances June 2. The cast of Spamilton includes Chris Anthony Giles, Nicole Vanessa Ortiz, Aaron Michael Ray, Dan Rosalex, and Tristan J. Shuler. Cameron Amandus and Claudia Yanez are the show's understudies.

Spamilton is written and directed by Gerard Alessandrini. In addition, the creative team includes Gerry McIntyre (choreography), Dustin Cross (costume design), Richard Danley and Fred Barton (musical arrangements), and Michael Cassara (casting director).
